Sega has launched its own account system, offering a centralized hub for all things Sega and Atlus. This new Sega Account provides users with the latest news, exclusive in-game benefits, and more. Learn how to claim your free Like a Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name DLC!
Sega Launches Sega Account: Your One-Stop Shop for Sega/Atlus

Sega's new Sega Account service aims to enhance the player experience by providing a single point of access for all things Sega and Atlus. The official website describes it as a profile designed to "maximize SEGA's online services and offers a ton of benefits."
Benefits include access to the latest news, upcoming events, and promotions. Account holders also receive exclusive bonuses and the ability to link accounts across various platforms for streamlined tracking. Future updates will even allow users to view their game history.

To celebrate the launch, players who create a Sega Account and link a compatible Like a Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name platform account (Steam, PlayStation Network, or Xbox) before March 7th will receive a code for the free Kazuma Kiryu Special Outfit DLC. This DLC features protagonist Goro Majima in Kiryu's iconic suit. Unique codes will be distributed to eligible players starting February 17th, redeemable in-game upon its February 28th release.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis (NGS) players also benefit. Linking their Sega Account to NGS unlocks rewards including 300 Star Gems, 100x C/Endymio, 500x Card Scratch Tickets, 3 Beauty Salon Passes, 3 Color Change Passes, and a special lobby action featuring your character holding the Sega logo.
A Potential Connection to Sega's "Super Game"?

Many speculate that the Sega Account launch is linked to Sega's ambitious "Super Game" project, announced in a 2022 report. Sega CEO Haruki Satomi stated, "One strategy for generating such hit titles is the creation of a 'Super Game' - a large-scale global title. We're currently developing such a game, targeting release by the fiscal year ending March 2026."
While details remain scarce two years later, Sega and its subsidiaries continue developing a diverse range of titles, from classics like Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio to new projects including the mysterious Yakuza-like Project Century. The Sega Account platform could mark the beginning of a new era for Sega, though the full scope of these plans remains to be seen.
