Pedro Pascal Slams JK Rowling as 'Heinous Loser' Over Trans Comments
Pedro Pascal, renowned for his roles in The Last of Us, The Mandalorian, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, has publicly criticized JK Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, due to her recent comments against the transgender community. This criticism came in response to a video posted by writer and activist Tariq Raouf on April 17, where Raouf expressed opposition to Rowling's support of a recent UK Supreme Court decision. This decision legally defined "woman" as "a biological woman and biological sex" for the purposes of equality legislation, effectively excluding transgender women from protections under the Equality Act.
Following the court's ruling, Rowling posted a celebratory photo on Twitter/X, showing herself smoking a cigar and enjoying a drink by the ocean. She captioned the image, "I love it when a plan comes together," alluding to her financial support for the organization For Scotland Women, which had filed the lawsuit.

In his reply to Raouf's video, Pascal condemned Rowling's actions, stating, "Awful disgusting SH** is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior." This statement aligns with Pascal's history of vocal support for transgender rights. He previously expressed his views by posting, "I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist," accompanied by a photo of a sign that read, "A world without trans people has never existed and never will." Additionally, Pascal showed his support by wearing a shirt with the message "Protect the dolls" at the premiere of Thunderbolts in London, a phrase used within the LGBTQIA+ community to refer to trans women.
Pascal's commitment to the transgender community is also personal; his sister, Lux Pascal, came out as a trans woman in 2021. Pedro Pascal celebrated her announcement with a heartfelt post, "Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux," which translates to "My sister, my heart, our Lux."
