Why are White Stellar Amulets so Valuable?

White (normal) Stellar Amulets, possessing only the inherent "+# to All Attributes" modifier, are the key ingredient in crafting the Astramentis amulet. Astramentis is a top-tier unique amulet, renowned for its massive attribute boost (+80-120 to All Attributes). This substantial attribute increase synergizes exceptionally well with items like the Hand of Wisdom and Action Furtive Wraps, further amplifying attack speed and lightning damage.

Crucially, only white Stellar Amulets can be used to create Astramentis. Magic (blue) or Rare (yellow) amulets won't work, making the normal variant exceptionally valuable.

To Sell or to Gamble? That is the Question

The odds of successfully crafting Astramentis using an Orb of Chance are extremely low. Even using a large number of amulets doesn't guarantee success. While a lucky strike is possible, it's a significant gamble.

The decision to sell your White Stellar Amulets or attempt the Astramentis gamble is a personal one. Selling them guarantees a return of 10-30 Exalted Orbs (depending on market conditions), while attempting the gamble offers a potentially huge reward but with a high risk of losing your investment.

Using the Orb of Chance to Aim for Astramentis

To attempt the gamble, simply right-click the Orb of Chance and then left-click the White Stellar Amulet. The possible outcomes are:

• Destruction: The amulet is destroyed.
• Unique Upgrade: The amulet transforms into a unique amulet. The possibilities are:
  • Astramentis (the highly desirable outcome)
  • Fixation of Yix (a much less valuable alternative)

Remember, Fixation of Yix is the more likely outcome if the gamble is successful, highlighting the inherent risk involved. The potential reward of Astramentis, however, makes the gamble tempting for many players.
