Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM: New Collaboration Coming March 18, 2025

Blizzard Entertainment is teaming up once again with LE SSERAFIM for a vibrant and stylish in-game event launching on March 18, 2025. The collaboration coincides with the release of LE SSERAFIM’s new album “Hot” and introduces exclusive skins, emotes, visualizers, and themed in-game challenges. This marks the second time Overwatch 2 has partnered with the K-pop sensation—following their successful 2023 collaboration tied to the song “Perfect Night.”

The event was officially announced during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight stream on February 12, 2025, and later confirmed with a trailer posted on X (formerly Twitter) on March 11, 2025.

What’s New in This Collaboration?

This collab introduces a variety of brand-new cosmetic items featuring the signature style of LE SSERAFIM:

• New LE SSERAFIM Skins: Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari will each receive exclusive LE SSERAFIM-themed skins.
• Returning Recolored Skins: Popular skins from the 2023 event—including Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte—will be re-released and available for purchase.
• Exclusive Emotes & Visualizers: Players can enjoy custom animations and an exclusive music visualizer based on LE SSERAFIM’s “Hot” album track.

Unlike the previous collaboration, the Concert Clash game mode won’t return this time, as it was specifically tied to the “Perfect Night” music video. However, players can still earn rewards through new in-game challenges.

One standout reward is the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin, which becomes unlockable upon completing specific event-based challenges.

Aimee Denett, Associate Director of Product Management for Overwatch 2, shared insights about the collaboration with Polygon on March 11. She stated, “This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album.” She added, “While we don’t have a new song that’s specific to Overwatch, we had to celebrate K-pop culture, so we made a visualizer for one of the new songs off their album that we’re pretty excited about—and a lot of extensive cosmetics for this collaboration.”

Event Schedule & Livestream Details

The Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM event runs from March 18 to March 31, 2025. Prior to the event launch, fans can tune into a special livestream event on March 17, 2025 at 8:30 PM PST hosted on Twitch and YouTube. The livestream will feature appearances from members of LE SSERAFIM and offer an in-depth preview of the new skins and event features.
