Orna: The GPS RPG is gearing up for another major event with Natureblight. This new in-game chapter launches on May 30, 2025, and continues until June 14. As the latest installment in Terra's Legacy, it challenges players to engage in an environmental conflict once more.

Orna: The GPS RPG Introduces a New Menace Called the Great Murk in Natureblight

Northern Forge Studios is placing a significant emphasis on environmental themes, much like in their previous updates. With Natureblight, Orna: The GPS RPG is weaving in real-world conservation messages.

This also marks the studio's second participation in the Green Game Jam, backed by the Playing for the Planet Alliance. Veteran players will recognize how the game merges fantasy with real-world GPS data. The new event guides you to virtual representations of locations confronting severe ecological challenges.

Throughout the event, you'll be transported across the world of Orna to explore versions of seven real-world sites. Each location introduces a new animal guardian, embodying the local ecosystem it inhabits.

Your journey includes visiting Prince Edward County in Canada to encounter the Beaver and diving into Oceania's Coral Reefs. You'll also trek the misty paths of Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable Forest alongside the Mountain Gorilla and confront frozen relics like the Bone Mammoth in Dunkerque, France.

Look for the Giant Tortoise in Ecuador's Galapagos Islands, the Giant Panda in Chengdu, China, and the Macaroni Penguin standing guard on the Antarctic Peninsula. You can befriend these Animal Guardians and retain them as companions after the event concludes.

Confronting the Great Murk

As you journey through each region, you'll discover how the alien Terran civilization devastated its own environment through deforestation, pollution, and species extinction. Now, the same scourge—the Great Murk—is re-emerging, and you must fight to repel it.

Staying true to the theme, a Natureblight pack is available in Orna: The GPS RPG via PlanetPlay. It offers origin town cosmetics, character sprites, and consumable boosters. Download the game from the Google Play Store.
