Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders Start April 24 in U.S., Priced at $449
Nintendo has officially announced that pre-orders for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 will commence in the U.S. on April 24, 2025. The console will launch at its original price of $449.99 on June 5, 2025, maintaining the previously announced cost and release date. The news was shared on Nintendo's official website, which also highlighted potential price adjustments for Switch 2 accessories due to shifts in market conditions. Nintendo further noted that future changes to the pricing of any Nintendo product could occur, depending on market dynamics.
In addition to the base console price, Nintendo confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will remain priced at $499.99. Both the physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World will stay at $79.99, and Donkey Kong Bananza will be available for $69.99 at launch, with no changes to these prices.
