It's important to note that the actual peak concurrent player count for Monster Hunter Rise is likely even higher, as Sony and Microsoft don't publicly release their player numbers.

The question now is: how high will the Steam concurrent player count climb as Monster Hunter Rise enters its first weekend and beyond? Surpassing Cyberpunk 2077's concurrent player count seems imminent, potentially even reaching the 1 million mark. Could 2 million be a realistic possibility?
