Hunt a New Monster!
Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced a second Open Beta Test phase on the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel. This gives players another opportunity to experience the game before its February 28th launch.
The beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This time, you can hunt the Gypceros, a returning favorite monster!
Character data from the first beta carries over and can be transferred to the full game, but progress won't be saved. Participating players receive in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a special bonus item pack to aid your early game adventures.
Tsujimoto explained the decision for a second beta, stating the team received requests from players who missed the first or wanted another chance to play. While the team is working on post-launch improvements, those updates won't be included in this beta.
