Believe it or not, dear reader, back in the day, Facebook was a true powerhouse of gaming. Before they discovered they could make money in less fun ways, the team at Facebook was riding high on a wave of success. Yes, the era of Farmville is long gone, but some classics are making a comeback — and Miscrits is no exception.

While I never personally played it, the name likely sparks memories for many of you. But despite its age, this isn’t a stale concept. In Miscrits, you’ll experience the familiar thrill of catching and training creatures to battle one another.

The stakes are a little higher here, though. You’ll fight to stop a mysterious group called the Magicites from driving the Miscrits to extinction. Your mission: defeat their leader, Apollo Nox, and his six Elementums to protect the realm.

With the ability to train and evolve your Miscrits as you fill in your Miscripedia, this returning release offers plenty of content to enjoy. Even better, you can easily battle other players and join various Arena modes.

Though it shows its age in a few spots, it’s clear why Miscrits once attracted millions of players. Hopefully, this new release will bring even more people into the fold, letting them experience this creature collector and save the Miscrits of the Sunfall Kingdom from extinction.
