Minecraft 2 “Basically Announced” By Original Creator

Notch有意打造Minecraft精神续作
Minecraft的原创开发者Markus "Notch" Persson几乎证实了《我的世界2》的可能性。他在X平台上发布的投票显示，他正在开发一款融合了传统Roguelike游戏（如ADOM）和基于瓦片的俯视角第一人称地牢探索游戏（如《Eye of the Beholder》）元素的新游戏。然而，他补充说，他也非常乐意制作一款“Minecraft的精神续作”。
令人欣慰的是，投票结果显示“Minecraft 2”选项以压倒性优势胜出，截至目前已获得81.5%的选票（总票数287,000）。原版Minecraft是一款现象级游戏，至今仍拥有数千万的每日活跃玩家。
在后续帖子中，他确认自己“对所有这些都非常认真”，并且他“基本上已经宣布了Minecraft 2”。Notch认为玩家们实际上希望他制作另一款类似Minecraft的游戏，并且他很享受再次投入到自己的热情之中。“我并不特别在意我首先制作哪个游戏（甚至是否制作更多游戏），但我知道我正在制作一个游戏，所以我认为我绝对愿意以Minecraft精神续作的形式认真尝试一下，并为此进行投票，”他继续说道。
然而，目前的Minecraft及其知识产权（IP）和开发商Mojang在2014年已被微软收购。因此，除非Notch直接与微软合作，否则他合法地不允许使用任何与该IP相关的元素。尽管如此，他保证如果他专注于Minecraft精神续作，他打算以一种不会“偷偷侵犯Mojang团队的出色工作以及微软正在成功进行的微软式改造”的方式进行，因为他尊重他们所做的工作。Mojang似乎也在创意自由方面处于领先地位，微软让工作室发挥其最佳水平。
