HoYoVerse's parent company, MiHoYo, is keeping busy! Their upcoming game, originally titled Astaweave Haven, has received a significant makeover, even before its official reveal. The name change hints at a potential shift in gameplay style.

If you're a fan of gacha or RPGs, you might have already heard whispers about Astaweave Haven. While official details from MiHoYo remain scarce, indications suggest a departure from their typical open-world gacha formula. Instead of another expansive gacha adventure, Astaweave Haven appears to be shaping up as a life-simulation or management game, reminiscent of titles like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley.

And here's the big news: MiHoYo has rebranded Astaweave Haven as Petit Planet! The new name is undeniably charming and subtly suggests the game's likely management sim genre, differentiating it from MiHoYo's established gacha RPGs.

Release Date?

Currently, the game is under development, and specific release details are unavailable. Astaweave Haven received Chinese approval for PC and mobile platforms in July. HoYoVerse then registered Petit Planet on October 31st, with US and UK approvals pending.

Given MiHoYo's rapid release schedule (consider the quick succession of Zenless Zone Zero after Honkai: Star Rail), we can anticipate a relatively swift launch following name approval. Hopefully, we'll soon get a glimpse of Petit Planet's actual gameplay.
