Microsoft Unveils Xbox Game Pass February 2025 Wave 1 Lineup

Debuting today, February 4, is Far Cry New Dawn (Cloud, Console, and PC) available across Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. Microsoft describes this Ubisoft title in its Xbox Wire announcement: "Explore a radically transformed, colorful post-apocalyptic Hope County seventeen years after global nuclear devastation. Lead the resistance against the Highwaymen as they attempt to seize the last remaining resources."

February's Major Game Pass Additions

February 5 marks a significant update for Game Pass Standard, featuring three major additions: Another Crab's Treasure (Console), Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (Console), and Starfield (Xbox Series X|S).

Football fans get a special treat on February 6 when Madden NFL 25 (Cloud, Console, and PC) arrives for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members through EA Play.

Returning to the service on February 13 is Kingdom Two Crowns (Cloud and Console), accessible through both Game Pass Ultimate and Standard tiers. The game challenges players to "construct and protect their kingdom against the relentless Greed in this enhanced version of the acclaimed micro-strategy series, featuring new technologies, units, adversaries, mounts, and hidden elements."

Highly Anticipated Day-One Release

February 18 brings Obsidian's action RPG Avowed (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass as a day-one launch. Subscribers can optionally purchase the Premium Upgrade Addon for early access, exclusive cosmetic items, and digital bonus content including the game's artbook and soundtrack.
