Marvel TV Project Vision Quest Finds Its Jocasta

T’Nia Miller is reportedly stepping into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Jocasta in the upcoming Disney+ series Vision. According to Deadline, Miller—known for her standout roles in The Haunting of Bly Manor, The Fall of the House of Usher, and Foundation—will take on one of the lead roles opposite Paul Bettany, who reprises his role as Vision.

Her character, Jocasta, is described as “cunning and powerful,” with a storyline deeply rooted in vengeance. In the Marvel comics, Jocasta was originally created by Ultron as a robotic bride. Ultron attempted to give her life by uploading the consciousness of the Wasp, but she ultimately alerted the Avengers, leading to her deactivation. After being reactivated, Jocasta turned against Ultron and allied with the Avengers to help defeat him—a complex arc that could bring rich narrative depth to the series.

Recent reports from IGN reveal that the WandaVision spin-off is being developed by a team of seasoned Star Trek writers and producers. The project, quietly in development for over a year, is helmed by Terry Matalas, previously known for his work on Star Trek: Picard, who will serve as showrunner for Vision Quest. Matalas is reuniting with several collaborators from his Star Trek days, bringing a strong sci-fi storytelling pedigree to the MCU.

While Marvel has not officially confirmed the full plot, speculation suggests the series will explore the journey of Paul Bettany’s White Vision as he attempts to reclaim his memories and rediscover his humanity in the aftermath of WandaVision. The story is set after the events of the acclaimed series, offering a deeper dive into Vision’s identity and future within the MCU.

Filming for Vision Quest began earlier this spring, primarily at Pinewood Studios in London, with additional location shoots spotted in Scotland. The series is also expected to feature the surprising return of James Spader as Ultron—despite his apparent destruction in Avengers: Age of Ultron—and the reappearance of Raza, the character who initially captured Tony Stark in Iron Man.

Vision Quest is slated for a 2026 release on Disney+, positioning it to premiere before the delayed Avengers: Doomsday, though after Spider-Man: Brand New Day. As anticipation builds, fans are eager to see how T’Nia Miller’s portrayal of Jocasta shapes the next chapter of Vision’s story.
