The company views this practice as a breach of their rules, citing the unfair advantage gained through enhanced control sensitivity and the retention of aiming assistance.

Adapters such as XIM, Cronus Zen, Titan Two, KeyMander, and Brook Sniper enable the simulation of gamepad inputs using a keyboard and mouse. This setup provides a significant edge in competitive play, particularly when auto-targeting is enabled.

NetEase elaborated on their stance, stating, "We define adapters as devices or programs that emulate gamepad control using a keyboard and mouse. This creates an imbalance in the game, especially in competitive modes."

To enforce this policy, NetEase has deployed specialized tools designed to detect adapter usage with high precision. Upon detection of such violations, the implicated accounts are promptly blocked.

In related news, it has been observed that in Marvel Rivals, higher frame rates (FPS) can lead to increased ping. While this effect might be subtle with low ping, a jump to 150 ms from a usual 90 ms can significantly disrupt gameplay. This issue appears to be linked to frame rate. For now, gamers are advised to await a patch that addresses this problem and to experiment with finding the optimal balance between FPS and ping. Some players suggest capping the FPS at around 90, which might seem counterintuitive to fans of games like Counter-Strike 2, but it's currently recommended for Marvel Rivals.
