NetEase Games continues to expand Marvel Rivals post-launch, with Season 0 and the Winter Celebration event concluding soon. Season 1's arrival is imminent, bringing exciting new content.

Officially announced, Season 1: Eternal Night Falls launches January 10th at 1 AM PST. This season introduces Dracula as the primary antagonist and adds the Fantastic Four to the playable roster. A trailer showcases a new, darker version of New York City, hinting at a potential new map.

A PvE Mode in the Works?

The prominent leaker, RivalsLeaks, tweeted about a potential PvE mode, citing a source who allegedly played an early version. Another leaker, RivalsInfo, reportedly found related tags within game files. However, RivalsLeaks acknowledges the possibility of cancellation or postponement. Adding to the speculation, a separate leak suggests NetEase is also developing a Capture the Flag mode, indicating ambitious expansion plans for the game.

Ultron's Delayed Arrival

RivalsLeaks also reported Ultron's delay until Season 2 or later. A recent leak detailing Ultron's abilities – a Strategist character controlling healing or damaging drones – fueled anticipation for his immediate release. However, with four new characters in Season 1, his arrival is now expected later.

While some players express disappointment, others are focused on the potential introduction of Blade. Given Season 1's Dracula theme and leaked Blade abilities, many believe he’s a strong contender for a post-Fantastic Four release.
