Mario Kart World: $80 Solo, $50 in Switch 2 Bundle
At today's Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo officially announced the release date for its next-generation console – the Nintendo Switch 2 will launch on June 5, 2025.
While the standalone Nintendo Switch 2 console will cost $449.99, gamers can opt for a bundle that includes Mario Kart World at a total price of $499.99.
For those wanting to buy Mario Kart World separately, Nintendo has priced its flagship racing game at $79.99 – a premium price point for Switch titles.
Previously, Nintendo only released one $70 game for the original Switch – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Notably, the newly announced Donkey Kong Bananza will also carry this $70 price tag.
