Mortal Kombat 1 Welcomes Madam Bo

New Kameo Fighter

Mortal Kombat 1 has just released the official trailer for its latest Kameo fighter, Madam Bo, the spirited owner of Fengjian Teahouse. Set to join the game on March 18th, 2025, she'll be part of the Kombat Pack 2 and the expansive Khaos Reigns expansion, accompanied by the villainous T-1000 from Terminator 2.

Before her arrival as an assist character, Madam Bo featured in Mortal Kombat 1's story mode, where she was seemingly defeated by Lin Kuei assassin Smoke. This was actually a clever ploy to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament. Despite her unassuming appearance, Madam Bo is a formidable martial artist and former Lin Kuei associate, who has mentored the two champions.

In the gameplay footage, Madam Bo is shown assisting her pupils with devastating kicks and punches, culminating in a spectacular move where she smashes glass bottles over her opponents. Her unique fatality involves kicking the opponent's head off, only to catch it neatly on a tea tray.

T-1000 Makes Its Guest Debut

Joining Madam Bo on March 18th is the chilling T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This liquid metal assassin will make its debut in the Mortal Kombat franchise as a playable character, utilizing its shapeshifting abilities to wield a sharp sword or a machine gun in combat.

Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion

The addition of Madam Bo and T-1000 is part of the new Mortal Kombat 1 expansion and DLC, Khaos Reigns. This expansion extends Liu Kang's New Era storyline with a new campaign and a cinematic experience, detailing how he gathers his champions to combat the menacing Titan Havik, who threatens the stability of the New Era.

The Kombat Pack 2 introduces a variety of new and returning characters, with staggered release dates. Starting with the return of Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Cyrax in September 2024, followed by Ghostface from Scream in November, and Conan the Barbarian in January 2025. Madam Bo and T-1000 will round out the roster later this month, offering players even more thrilling combat options.
