LEGO Confirms X-Files Set with '90s Contest Theme
Several months ago, LEGO Ideas invited fans to submit designs celebrating iconic 1990s pop culture through their "Build Your Nostalgia" competition. The winning entry has now been revealed: an impressive X-Files themed set based on the beloved sci-fi series. This fan-designed creation will undergo development with the LEGO Ideas team before its eventual release.
An Official X-Files LEGO Set Is Coming
The winning design, "The X-Files: The Truth Is Out There" by creator WetWired, features a dual-vignette structure showcasing iconic show elements. The upper section displays a mysterious UFO forest scene, while the lower level recreates Mulder's basement office. Currently composed of approximately 2,020 pieces, the set includes seven detailed minifigures.
