Ubisoft's unannounced game, Project U, has been plagued by a series of unfortunate leaks starting as early as 2022, shortly after the closed beta testing phase began. These leaks have resurfaced two years later, indicating that the project is still in development. Recently, following what seems to be a reboot of the game's development, an introductory cinematic has been leaked online.

The cinematic's origin and authenticity remain unconfirmed, as it was shared by blogger Shaun Weber, known for leaking gaming content. Weber suggested that more videos from Project U could emerge if the game continues its development cycle.

Project U is anticipated to be a session-based cooperative shooter, taking inspiration from the success of Helldivers 2. According to the leaked footage, the game's narrative centers around an alien machine invasion of Earth, with players assuming the roles of selected individuals fighting against this extraterrestrial menace.

As of now, Ubisoft has not provided any official information regarding the formal announcement of Project U.
