Leaked 2005 James Bond audition tapes surface online, showcasing Henry Cavill's impressive performance before Daniel Craig secured the role.

Games Radar reports that a small collection of these tapes, featuring Cavill, Sam Worthington, Rupert Friend, and Anthony Starr, appeared on the Ron South YouTube channel, belonging to an enthusiastic filmmaker with a modest subscriber base.

Cavill's audition has garnered significant attention, with many, including Casino Royale director Martin Campbell, praising his "tremendous" performance. Campbell reportedly favored Cavill, but ultimately, other executives opted for Craig.

Cavill later fulfilled his spy aspirations in "Argylle," a film where he starred alongside a remarkable cast including Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, and Catherine O’Hara. Despite the impressive ensemble, the film's reception was underwhelming, receiving a poor 4/10 rating from IGN.
