Warhorse Studios has recently unveiled an exciting free update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II with version 1.2, bringing two major enhancements to the game: seamless mod integration via Steam Workshop and a novel barber shop system.

The integration of Steam Workshop into Kingdom Come: Deliverance II revolutionizes the modding experience, allowing players to easily download and install mods directly from within the game. This eliminates the hassle of using external platforms, although it hinges on mod creators uploading their creations to Steam Workshop. Currently, the selection is modest but promising, with mods such as:

• Free Saving: This mod enables unlimited saves by automatically replenishing the "Saviour Schnapps" item whenever it's used or lost.
• Helmet of Henry VIII: Players can don a historically inspired horned helmet.
• Tourist: This mod disables NPC reactions to trespassing, opening up restricted story locations for exploration.
• Pebbles the Zebra: Transform your horse into a zebra for a unique visual effect.

While the initial offerings are limited, the vibrant modding community is poised to grow, with over a thousand mods already on Nexus Mods expected to migrate to Steam Workshop. Although it may not match the volume of Nexus Mods, popular mods are likely to find their way to Steam Workshop soon.

Alongside mod support, the update introduces a barber shop system where players can visit NPC barbers in Rattay and Kuttenberg to customize their hairstyle or beard. Choosing a new look not only refreshes your appearance but also grants a temporary boost to the protagonist's Charisma stat.

Version 1.2 of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II doesn't stop at these additions. The comprehensive changelog on the game’s official website details over a thousand fixes and improvements touching almost every aspect of gameplay. This includes balance adjustments, refined animations, and improved NPC behavior, with the crime system now functioning with greater accuracy.

Among the other significant updates are:
