Reclaiming Your Horse

Your original horse, Pebbles, can be retrieved. Visit the horse trader in Semine (south). However, securing Pebbles requires either payment (Groschen), persuasion, or intimidation. During my playthrough, adopting a more noble appearance (through new clothing obtained after working with Radovan) allowed me to persuade the trader without payment, albeit at a minor reputational cost in Semine. If persuasion fails, prepare to pay.

Stealing a Horse

Alternatively, horse theft is an option, though wild horses are scarce. Farms and stables offer better prospects.

I suggest targeting the farmhouse near Vidlak Pond (west). Fishermen there possess two horses; simply mount one and ride away.

Subsequently, visit the Nomads' Camp (east of Vidlak Pond) and engage the horse trainer NPC to learn saddling and taming (for a fee). Riding the unsaddled horse is also possible.
