Players assume the role of Wright, a young apprentice under the tutelage of Yuisil, the Witch of Portals, within the Ancient Library. Wright's journey unfolds as he delves into the stories contained within four magical books, each transporting him to a unique and distinct world.

The game incorporates innovative features such as a "Change" command, allowing players to redistribute damage among their allies, and "Novel Power," which empowers decks using ink. For those seeking a greater challenge, the "Deep Record" mode significantly increases dungeon difficulty, providing high-stakes battles for seasoned players.

Character relationships play a crucial role, as players collect treasures to strengthen bonds with their companions. These relationships ultimately unlock special endings. Furthermore, "Witch Stones" offer a stylish touch, enabling players to customize character costumes.
