KCD 2 Hardcore Mode: New Perks Like Sore Back, Clumsy Steps, and More

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2's upcoming update will finally address player requests for increased difficulty. Warhorse Studios is introducing a hardcore mode, allowing players to activate various negative perks impacting protagonist Henry's gameplay.
Several challenging perks will be available, each adding unique obstacles:
- Sore Back: Reduces Henry's carry weight and increases injury risk while gathering herbs and mushrooms.
- Heavy Footsteps: Accelerates shoe wear and makes Henry's movements noisier, hindering stealth.
- Dimwit: Reduces experience gain by 20% (yes, you read that right, 20%!).
- Sweaty: Causes Henry to become dirtier and smellier faster, affecting social interactions.
- Ugly Mug: Increases the chance of peaceful encounters escalating into difficult, no-holds-barred fights.
These new perks aim to create a more immersive and challenging experience for players seeking a significantly harder playthrough of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
