Each romanceable NPC has a heart meter that fills based on your interactions. To kindle a romance with a specific NPC, regular interaction is key. Start by **engaging in daily conversations** with them, which can be done while completing other tasks around town. Consistent daily chats can significantly boost your relationship.
Additionally, make it a priority to **fulfill any requests** they post on the town board. Completing these tasks not only helps the community but also provides more chances to increase their heart gauge.
Lastly, you can **give them a gift once per day**, ensuring it's something they personally enjoy or love. These preferences vary between characters, so you'll need to gather or craft these items thoughtfully. On their birthday, gift them something they absolutely love for an extra boost to their heart gauge.
Keep in mind that, at the moment, NPC heart gauges can only reach **six hearts**. Reaching this level triggers a cutscene that hints at a budding romance, but it's not the full experience yet.
According to the game's roadmap, future updates will introduce 8 and 10-heart events for romanceable NPCs, along with options for marriage and children, ensuring your romantic journey in Mistria is far from over.
