Following the significant updates in Version 1.4, which concluded several launch events and introduced the much-anticipated character Hoshimi Miyabi, HoYoverse has now unveiled the details of Version 1.5 through a Special Program livestream. This upcoming version promises to captivate players with the introduction of two new S-Rank Agents.

In the first phase, players can look forward to Astra Yao, an Ether Support character, joining the ranks of the rare Ether-based agents like Nicole and Zhu Yuan. Astra's unique W-Engine, Elegant Vanity, will also be available for players to pull. The second phase, starting on February 12, will introduce Evelyn Chevalier, a Fire Attacker Bodyguard, along with her W-Engine, Heartstring Nocturne, available for a limited time.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 Launches on January 22

In addition to the new agents, Version 1.5 offers a wealth of new content. Players can dive into a new special story following the conclusion of the main narrative in Version 1.4. The S-Rank Bangboo unit Snap will be available, alongside new check-in events and further game optimizations. Existing activities will see evolutions, and the next Hollow Zero phase, Cleanse Calamity, will be introduced. Fans can also enjoy a new Arcade game called Mach 25, and new costumes for Ellen, Nicole, and Astra Yao will be added to the game.

A highly requested feature, banner reruns, will also be introduced in Version 1.5. Similar to HoYoverse's other titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero will allow players to pull for past S-Rank agents again. Ellen Joe and her specific W-Engine will be available during the first phase, followed by Qingyi and her W-Engine in the second phase.
