The new Iron Man game could be revealed as early as next week
EA Motive and SEED will unveil their groundbreaking "Texture Sets" technology at the Game Developers Conference (GDC), showcasing its application in titles like Dead Space and the highly anticipated Iron Man game. This innovative approach combines related texture sets into a single resource, streamlining processing and enabling the creation of richer, more detailed textures. EA's lead technical artist, Martin Palko, will lead the presentation, detailing the intricacies of this advanced texturing process.

The GDC presentation offers a glimmer of hope for fans eagerly awaiting news on Iron Man. Announced in 2022, the game has remained shrouded in secrecy, fueling speculation about its status. This GDC appearance confirms ongoing development and may even provide a sneak peek at gameplay or new details. The conference runs from March 17th to 21st, 2025.
Currently, Iron Man is known to be a single-player RPG featuring an open world and built using Unreal Engine 5. EA Motive is also expected to leverage its experience with Anthem's flight system in the development of this new title.
