Invincible: Guarding the Globe gets a Season 3-themed update! Fresh off the release of the first three episodes of Season 3 on Amazon Prime, the game receives a significant content drop to keep players engaged while awaiting the remaining episodes.
New Content: Characters, Artifacts, and More
The update's highlight is "Cecil's Nightmares," a series of new levels directly inspired by the stressful situations faced by Cecil Stedman in Season 3. This immersive storyline brings the show's plot directly into the game.
Joining the roster are two new playable characters: Kid Omni-Man and Multi-Paul, both making their debut in Season 3. A new artifact, the Medical Headband, has also been introduced. This Global Defense Agency device provides a crucial healing effect to all nearby allies.
Season 3-Inspired Reward System: The GDA Pass
The update introduces the GDA Pass, a new reward system. Players earn Pass Tokens by completing daily missions, engaging in GDA Ops, or participating in Alliances. These tokens unlock various rewards as players progress through the pass.
Three distinct passes cater to different playstyles:
- Hero Pass: Unlocks new and existing heroes.
- Artifact Pass: Provides crafting materials for artifacts.
- Progression Pass: Boosts leveling speed with XP and gems.
