While starting with basic equipment, players progressively unlock superior weapons tailored to their preferred playstyles. Acquiring New Weapons

Exploring Overgrowths is the primary method. While exploring, you'll naturally discover new gear. Focus on sword (Blades) or pistol (Rails) icons on the map for targeted weapon hunts.

Blades are melee weapons, each with unique movesets and special abilities. Rails are ranged weapons, each offering distinct functionalities. Both weapon types have varying rarities, with gold being the most powerful. As expected, rarer weapons possess superior stats.

To save weapons for later use, press the Cache button instead of Equip when found in an Overgrowth. These cached weapons can then be equipped before starting your next run by adjusting your loadout.

Obtaining New Starting Weapons

Beyond finding weapons during gameplay, players can purchase new starting equipment from merchants at the Cursed Outpost. Initially, only the Blades merchant is accessible. Unlocking the Rails merchant requires sufficient materials to repair their shop.

Merchants have limited stock, but their inventories refresh periodically. If the initial selection is unsatisfactory, check back later for new options.

Weapon Upgrades
