Hearthstone's Emerald Dream Expansion: A Realm of Magic and Mayhem
Prepare for the arrival of Hearthstone's Emerald Dream expansion, launching March 25th! This magical yet treacherous expansion introduces 145 new cards, exciting new mechanics, and fearsome Wild Gods.
A Choice Between Order and Chaos:
Ysera's sanctuary, the heart of nature magic, faces a grave threat. Players must choose a side: defend its serenity or embrace the ensuing chaos.
The Imbue Keyword:
The Emerald Dream introduces the "Imbue" keyword, empowering six classes: Druids, Hunters, Mages, Paladins, Priests, and Shamans. Playing an Imbue card transforms your Hero Power, growing stronger with each subsequent Imbue card played. Hunters, for instance, receive the Blessing of the Wolf. Other classes are excluded from this mechanic.
Dark Gifts: Embrace the Corruption:
For those drawn to darkness, the Old Gods offer "Dark Gifts." This keyword grants Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Rogues, Warlocks, and Warriors twisted power boosts. These enhancements synergize with Discover options, unleashing nightmarish minions. The expansion features 10 distinct Dark Gifts.
The Wild Gods Await:
Legendary Wild Gods, colossal forces of nature, await. Each class receives a Wild God, some corrupted, creating a compelling conflict between Dream defenders and Nightmare embracers.
