As announced in their latest X (formerly Twitter) post, Hades 2 has been in early access since May 6, 2024. Developer Supergiant celebrated this milestone by expressing gratitude to the community for their unwavering support and indicating that they are progressing toward the game's full release.

Their post reads, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"

The journey of Hades 2 mirrors that of its predecessor, Hades, which also debuted in early access and took 22 months to reach its full release. However, Supergiant Games aims to bring Hades 2 to full release more swiftly, with an initial time-exclusive launch planned for the Nintendo Switch 2.

Launching First on the Nintendo Switch 2

In a recent episode of Nintendo’s Creator’s Voice video series, Supergiant disclosed that Hades 2 will make its debut on the Nintendo Switch 2. With the Switch 2 slated for release on June 5, fans can anticipate Hades 2 to be available around that time at the earliest.
