Guilty Gear Strive’s 4th Season introduces a new 3v3 Team Mode, returning characters, Dizzy and Venom, new characters, Unika, and Cyberpunk Edgerunners' Lucy. Learn more about the new game mode, upcoming characters and Lucy’s arrival in Season 4.

Season 4 Pass Announcement

Arc System Works' Guilty Gear Strive is set to ignite Season 4 with an exciting new 3v3 Team Mode. In this mode, 6 players will engage in team battles, offering a more challenging experience and character combinations. Season 4 also marks the return of beloved characters from Guilty Gear X, Dizzy and Venom, and introduces Unika from the upcoming Guilty Gear Strive-Dual Rulers and Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners.

With the addition of a brand new team mode, upcoming characters, and crossover, Season 4 will bring a different kind of appeal and gameplay innovation that is sure to excite new and longtime players.

New 3v3 Team Mode

The 3v3 Team Mode is a standout feature in Guilty Gear Season 4, where teams of 3 players face off in battles. This setup can allow players to play in a particular strength and cover their weaknesses and can make engagements more tactical and focused on matchups. Guilty Gear Strive's 4th Season will also introduce "Break-Ins", a powerful special move that is unique to each character and can only be used once per match.

The 3v3 mode is currently in Open Beta, inviting players to test and provide much needed feedback for this exciting feature.

New and Returning Characters

Queen Dizzy
A returning character from Guilty Gear X, Dizzy makes a return to the fray with a more regal look, teasing interesting changes to come into the current lore. Queen Dizzy is a versatile character with a mix of ranged and melee attacks that adapts to the opponents fighting style. Queen Dizzy will be available in October 2024.

Venom
Venom, the billiard ball master, is also back from Guilty Gear X. Venom will bring a different layer of tactical depth in Guilty Gear Strive by setting up his billiard balls to control the battlefield. Venom's precision and setup-based gameplay makes him a challenging but rewarding character for tactical players. Venom will be available Early 2025.

Unika
Unika will be the newest addition from the roster coming from Guilty Gear-Strive-Dual Rulers, an anime adaptation of the Guilty Gears universe. Unika will be available in 2025.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners Crossover, Lucy

The highlight of the Season 4 Pass is Lucy, the inaugural guest character in Guilty Gear Strive and a surprising addition. This isn’t the first time CD Projekt Red, the developers of Cyberpunk 2077, has integrated characters from their games into fighting games, however: The Witcher’s Geralt was a part of the roster in Soul Calibur VI.

Players can expect a technically proficient character with Lucy and it's intriguing how her cybernetic enhancements and netrunning skills will be introduced to Guilty Gear Strive. Lucy will join the roster in 2023.
