To start your hunt for Sharp Fangs, take on optional quests like "Beware the Chatacabra" or "The Desert is Demanding." These quests will lead you to the Windward Plains and provide a generous 50-minute time frame. Remember to boost your stats by cooking and eating a meal before you set out.

Once in the Windward Plains, head east to Area 8, a spacious region teeming with various small monsters. Here, you'll want to focus on two types of monsters for Sharp Fangs:

Gaijos

Gaijos, small leviathan monsters resembling crocodiles with unique snouts, are your primary target. They are commonly found near or in riverbeds, often alone. Use the interactive map to locate them by looking for purple diamonds near water sources.
