GTAV Dips Out of Netflix Games Lineup
Netflix Games subscribers who enjoy Grand Theft Auto on Android are facing some upcoming changes. Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City will be removed from the Netflix Games catalog next month.
This removal isn't arbitrary; Netflix licenses games similarly to movies and TV shows. The licenses for these two GTA titles are expiring. A "Leaving Soon" label will appear on the games before their departure.
GTA III and Vice City were added to Netflix Games a year ago, coinciding with a 12-month licensing agreement with Rockstar Games. Consequently, these games will be unavailable to Netflix subscribers after December 13th.
Players currently immersed in the worlds of Liberty City or Vice City should finish their playthroughs soon. However, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas remains available on the platform.

For those who haven't completed these titles, they're available for purchase on the Google Play Store. The Definitive Editions of Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City are priced at $4.99 each, or $11.99 for the complete trilogy.
Unlike the sudden removal of Samurai Shodown V and WrestleQuest last year, Netflix is providing advance notice of the GTA games' departure. This is noteworthy considering the significant subscriber growth Netflix experienced in 2023, partly attributed to the GTA trilogy.
Speculation suggests ongoing collaboration between Rockstar and Netflix, potentially leading to remastered versions of Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories, and even Chinatown Wars in the future. This remains unconfirmed, but hopeful fans anticipate this development.
