Recent speculation suggests Gotham Knights may be headed to the Nintendo Switch 2. This intriguing possibility stems from a game developer's resume, as highlighted by YouTuber Doctre81 on January 5, 2025.

The resume, belonging to a developer formerly with QLOC (2018-2023), lists Gotham Knights alongside titles like Mortal Kombat 11 and Tales of Vesperia. Crucially, the entry for Gotham Knights specifies development for two unreleased platforms.

One platform is likely the original Nintendo Switch, given a previous ESRB rating (since removed). However, performance issues on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S might have hindered a Switch port. The second, unreleased platform strongly hints at the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

While neither Warner Bros. Games nor Nintendo have made official announcements, the evidence is compelling. The Nintendo Switch 2 remains the only major, unreleased console currently anticipated.
