Android Authority reports Google is developing "App Auto Open," a feature designed to streamline the app installation process. Once an app download completes, it will automatically launch. This eliminates the need to manually search for the app icon.

This feature remains unconfirmed by Google, stemming from an APK teardown of Play Store version 41.4.19. While its release date is unknown, the feature will be entirely optional, allowing users to enable or disable automatic app launches as preferred.
