Path of Exile 2's Hidden Golden Idols: A Guide to Finding and Selling Them

Path of Exile 2 features numerous quests, some less obvious than others. Act 3 introduces a unique collectible: Golden Idols. These items, though labeled "Quest Items," don't behave like typical quest items. They aren't logged, and instead of advancing a questline, they're valuable trade goods. There are five to find.

How to Find the Golden Idols

After exploring the Vaal ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment in Act 3, a portal transports you to Utzaal (The Drowned City in the present), showcasing the Vaal civilization at its zenith. The idols are located within Utzaal and the connected area, Aggorat. They're not enemy drops; instead, they're found on the ground or pedestals, often in side rooms.

Utzaal:

• Glorious Idol
• Golden Idol
• Grand Idol

Aggorat:

• Exceptional Idol
• Elegant Idol

Selling Your Golden Idols

Once collected, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and seek out Oswald, located in the northern part of the area. He's the only vendor who will buy these unique items. Prices are as follows:

• Golden Idol: 500 Gold
• Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
• Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
• Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
• Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold

Finding all five yields a substantial 6000 Gold reward. Since they only serve as high-value currency, sell them immediately to free up inventory space.
