Glauco Longhi, a character artist and developer who previously worked on God of War (2018) and Ragnarok, has returned to Santa Monica Studio. His updated LinkedIn profile reveals he's overseeing character development for an "unannounced project." This strongly suggests a new game is in the works. His statement, "Supervising/Directing Character development on an unannounced project, and also helping the studio to continually push and raise the bar on Character Development for videogames," hints at the project's significance.

Adding fuel to the fire, Cory Barlog, creative director of the 2018 God of War reboot, previously mentioned the studio was working on multiple projects. Further supporting this, Santa Monica Studio's recent recruitment efforts for a character artist and tools programmer indicate team expansion and active development.
