First Glimpse of the Early Version of The Sinking City 2
A new teaser showcases core gameplay pillars: intense combat, atmospheric location exploration, and gripping investigations—all integral to the Sinking City 2 experience. Note that the footage shown is pre-alpha; expect significant refinements to gameplay, graphics, and animations before launch.
This survival horror sequel is a direct continuation of the original, plunging players back into the decaying city of Arkham. A supernatural flood has ravaged the city, transforming it into a monstrous haven.
To fuel development and reward dedicated fans, Frogwares has launched a Kickstarter campaign with a €100,000 goal (approximately $105,000). These funds will also support playtesting, ensuring a polished final product. The game is being built on Unreal Engine 5.
The Sinking City 2 is slated for a 2025 release on current-gen consoles (Xbox Series X|S, PS5) and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG).
