Rome's newest attraction: GAMM, the Game Museum! Now open to the public in Piazza della Repubblica, this expansive museum is the culmination of Marco Accordi Rickards' vision. Rickards, a writer, journalist, professor, and CEO of Vigamus, is deeply committed to preserving and celebrating video game history. He describes GAMM as an immersive journey blending historical context, technological innovation, and interactive gameplay.

GAMM builds upon the legacy of Vigamus, a Rome-based gaming museum that has welcomed over two million visitors since 2012. The new museum boasts 700 square meters across two floors, divided into three captivating thematic sections. Get a sneak peek below!

Explore GAMM's Interactive Exhibits:

• GAMMDOME: A dynamic digital space featuring interactive stations and authentic gaming artifacts, including consoles and donated memorabilia. This area embodies the 4E concept: Experience, Exhibition, Education, and Entertainment.

• Path of Arcadia (PARC): Journey back to the golden age of arcade games, revisiting classic titles from the late 1970s through the 1980s, with a touch of early 90s nostalgia.

• Historical Playground (HIP): Delve into the mechanics and design principles of video games. This section provides an insightful look behind the scenes of gaming history, allowing visitors to analyze game structures and interaction mechanics.
