Six Xbox Game Pass titles are leaving the service on January 15th, likely around midnight local time. This includes both single-player and multiplayer games, impacting subscribers who rely on Game Pass for online play.

The departing games are: Escape Academy, Those Who Remain, Exoprimal, Insurgency: Sandstorm, Figment: Journey Into the Mind, and Common'hood. Half of these are multiplayer focused. Escape Academy has the distinction of being available the longest on Game Pass (since July 2022) and also offers a well-received co-op mode.

Xbox Game Pass Departures - January 15th:

While Escape Academy is leaving Xbox Game Pass, PC players can claim it for free on the Epic Games Store starting January 16th. Console players have a limited time to finish it.

The next batch of Game Pass departures is scheduled for January 31st, with announcements expected alongside the January 2025 Wave 2 lineup. This is also anticipated to include Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. Further news is anticipated around January 23rd, coinciding with the 2025 Xbox Developer Direct.
