Nvidia Unveils RTX 50 Series GPUs with DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation at CES 2025

Nvidia's CES 2025 keynote showcased the RTX 50 series GPUs, codenamed Blackwell, featuring groundbreaking DLSS 4 technology with Multi-Frame Generation. This new feature significantly boosts frame rates (FPS) in supported games, promising a smoother gaming experience. The flagship model, the RTX 5090 (32GB GDDR7, $1999 MSRP), demonstrates the technology's potential, achieving a remarkable 236 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 with DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation enabled (compared to under 30 FPS with features disabled).

A total of 75 games and applications will launch with immediate support for DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation. This impressive list includes major titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Marvel Rivals, God of War Ragnarok, Hogwarts Legacy, and many more (see full list below).

While initially exclusive to the RTX 50 series, Nvidia confirmed that enhanced DLSS features—including Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction, and DLAA—will also be available for older RTX 40 series cards via future driver updates. Furthermore, upcoming titles like Doom: The Dark Ages will also leverage Multi-Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction upon release.
