Fuecoco Takes the Spotlight in March’s First Community Day

Pokemon GO has announced that Fuecoco will headline the first Community Day of March on March 8, 2025. From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, Fuecoco will appear more frequently on the map, and you'll have a higher chance of encountering its Shiny form during the event.

Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge via Crocalor during the event or within a week afterward allows it to learn the Charged Attack Blast Burn. Skeledirge can also learn Torch Song without any time restrictions.

A Special Background Timed Research is also available, rewarding trainers with a Fuecoco encounter featuring a Seasonal Special Background. Completing these tasks by March 15, 2025, at 10:00 pm local time will further boost your chances of encountering Shiny Fuecoco.

For an additional $2.00, trainers can access the exclusive Community Day Special Research, which includes Battle Passes, Rare Candies, and three Fuecoco encounters with a Seasonal Special Background. This ticket can also be gifted to friends at the Great Friends level or higher.

Upcoming Community Day Dates for March to May Revealed

In addition to Fuecoco's debut, Pokemon GO has shared the schedule for Community Day events from March to May 2025:

Community Day Classic events bring back popular Pokémon from past Community Days, like Ralts, which was featured in August 2019 and January 2025. New Pokémon will be spotlighted on the other dates, though details on these are yet to be announced.

Choosing Between Candela and Arlo

The Beloved Buddies event, which introduces Dhelmise, includes a Timed Research that offers two distinct paths: one with Candela of Team Valor and another with Arlo of Team GO Rocket.

Before choosing a path, trainers will complete initial tasks earning Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. Then, they'll decide between:

• Candela's Path: Focus on bonding with your Buddy Pokémon. Rewards include Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.

• Arlo's Path: Emphasize catching Pokémon and battling. Rewards include Pocket Radar, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
