Alternatively, two Black Markets offer the Laser for 600 Gold. The Black Market near Magic Mosses is a more strategic choice, conveniently located for the next challenge that requires a return trip to Joss's lab.
Collecting Mineral Samples
With your Epic Plasma Burst Laser in hand, it's time to find the right stone structure. Not just any rock will do; you need a destructible one. Target a smaller stone formation that you could normally break with your Pickaxe. Unleash the Laser's power on your chosen stone. Once destroyed, a small piece of rock containing the mineral samples will appear on the ground. Interact with this rock to collect the samples and complete this quest step.
From there, the game conveniently marks Joss's lab on your map. Head back, interact with the designated spot, and watch your XP counter climb. You've successfully completed a segment of the Wanted: Joss Outlaw Quests!
