Rifts are rarely good news in games, but Avid Games embraces the chaos in its highly anticipated CCG, Eerie Worlds – the follow-up to Cards, the Universe and Everything. This time, the focus shifts to monsters emerging from these rifts, offering a unique blend of fun and educational gameplay.

Avid Games has meticulously crafted a visually stunning array of monsters, each inspired by real-world horrors from diverse mythologies and folklore.

The game boasts an impressive roster, encompassing creatures from Japanese Yokai (like Jikininki and Kuchisake) to Slavic monsters (such as Vodyanoy and Psoglav). Bigfoot, Mothman, the Nandi Bear, El Chupacabra, and countless others from around the globe populate this terrifying yet captivating collection. Each card includes detailed, researched descriptions, enriching the gameplay experience.

Eerie Worlds features four Alliances (Grimbald, Zerrofel, Rivin, and Synnig) and multiple Hordes, creating complex tactical depth through varied monster properties. Your monster collection, known as your Grimoire, can be leveled up by merging duplicate cards. The game starts with 160 basic cards, with many more accessible through merging, and additional cards planned for release soon.
