Start with 'A Good Scrub'

To initiate "A Good Scrub," speak with the innkeeper in Kuttenberg about work opportunities. This leads you to Betty, who runs a bathhouse in the southeast part of the city. After expressing your interest in work, she tasks you with traveling to Grund to fetch Matsek.

Matsek is hesitant to be seen with the girls he's supposed to bring to the bathhouse. You'll find him near a courtyard, where three girls sit at a table. Approach them, mention Betty's name, and escort them back to Kuttenberg.

Promote the Bathhouse

Upon returning with the girls, Betty requests your help in promoting her bathhouse. Collaborate with her to craft a promotional spiel, then shout it out at the grain market, horse market, vintners' street, and merchants' street. Ensure you do this during daylight hours.

Clean Up the Bathhouse and Finish 'A Good Scrub'

The next step involves cleaning the bathhouse before the alderman's inspection. Completing these tasks swiftly is essential; failure to do so results in the bathhouse's closure, blocking subsequent quests like "Ill Repute."

Finding Fleas for 'Ill Repute' in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

After a successful inspection, converse with Betty about ongoing issues. She reveals that the city council is deciding on the primary bathhouse, and you must make the councillor abandon the competing bathhouse. Gather information from Meaty Mary, Katcha, and Little Lida about the councillor's dislikes.

To sabotage the competitor, you'll need Chamomile Brew for the wine cask on the second floor. Lida will share the councillor's preference for fragrant oils only if you provide her with a noblewomen's dress from a tailor. Alternatively, sneak to the third floor, lockpick a cabinet, and steal the oils.

Katcha mentions the bathhouse's past flea problem. To find the flea-infested item for the quest, head to the east gate of Kuttenberg City. At a small camp of beggars, search the sacks to locate a flea-infested blanket.

With the fleas in hand, return to the competing bathhouse. In the room where you added the Chamomile Brew, discreetly pour the fleas into Councillor Naaz’s laundry basket and the clean laundry basket when no one is around.

If you struggle to find the flea-infested item, remember that completing just one of the three sabotage tasks will suffice to make the councillor leave, allowing you to progress and tackle quests like "Axe from the Lake."
