Developer Mūn Mūn Games has unveiled Out Fishing, a first-person fishing simulator that appears deceptively peaceful. Its very name evokes a sense of cozy, relaxed gameplay — and that's exactly what it delivers during the daylight hours. However, once night falls in the game, the experience shifts dramatically into a full-fledged horror title. It is currently in development for PC.

The developers describe the game as follows: "Explore a serene yet disquieting wilderness. Hunt for rare fish and uncover scattered fragments of a forgotten past. Time works against you, yet the deeper you venture, the nearer you come to the truth. Catch fish, sell your haul, upgrade your equipment, and fortify your camp — a fragile sanctuary where the boundary between memory and hallucination begins to fade."

The game features a dynamic day-night cycle alongside unpredictable weather, both of which affect environmental conditions and influence the types of fish you can catch. Players can upgrade their tools and fishing methods — even vehicles are part of the progression(!). You'll also be responsible for building and maintaining your own camp.
