The iconic Final Fantasy VII soundtrack, "One-Winged Angel," made a surprising appearance at the Louis Vuitton Men's Fall-Winter 2025 fashion show. This unexpected collaboration blended high fashion with a legendary video game score.
A Live Orchestral Performance
The show opened with a live orchestral rendition of "One-Winged Angel," Sephiroth's dramatic theme. Male models showcased the latest Louis Vuitton designs as the powerful music filled the runway.
Creative director Pharrell Williams curated the show's soundtrack. While the rest of the music leaned towards pop artists like The Weeknd, Playboy Carti, Don Toliver, SEVENTEEN, and BTS' j-hope (and was, according to the livestream description, largely composed by Williams himself), the inclusion of "One-Winged Angel" (composed by Nobuo Uematsu) was a notable exception. Williams' personal appreciation for the music, or perhaps a hidden love for Final Fantasy, might explain the choice.
