"Stop Feud in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 - Battle of Frogs & Mice Quest Guide"
In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, the ongoing feud between Prochek and Olbram can seem endless, but you have the power to bring peace during the Battle of the Frogs and Mice side quest. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to stop their feud and bring harmony back to the region.
How to Start Battle of Frogs and Mice in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
The Battle of the Frogs and Mice side quest becomes available after you complete either the Mice or Frogs quests for Prochek and Olbram. Once you've seen either quest through to the end, the next quest will unlock. To kick things off, simply speak with Prochek in Tachov or Olbram in Zhelejov. After starting the quest, head to the pasture to continue.
Should You Side With Prochek or Olbram?
Henry faces another choice between siding with Prochek or Olbram, but there's also an opportunity to end the feud altogether. To side with Prochek, visit him in Tachov and say, “Let’s get those Zhelejovites!” To side with Olbram, talk to him in Zhelejov and say, “Let’s go and see those Tachovites!” During negotiations at the pasture, passing a dialogue check can cause someone from the opposing side to flee, making the fight less challenging. Winning the fight for either side grants you groschen, but there’s a better resolution.
How to Stop the Feud

For a peaceful resolution, before heading to the pasture, ask Prochek or Olbram if they want to end the feud. Then, make your way to Troskowitz and speak with Baliff Thrush. Choose the dialogue option, “You’d finally have some peace.” Passing the subsequent dialogue check allows you to enter the scribe’s room and read the Troskowitz Chronicle. If persuasion fails, you can sneak in to read it, but remember to save your game first.

Next, at the pasture, locate three oak trees in a row. Examine the middle tree to find a nail. You have three options:
- Leave it in the middle tree to split the pasture equally between Tachov and Zhelejov.
- Move it to the west tree to favor Tachov with more land.
- Move it to the east tree to favor Zhelejov with more land.
The choice is yours, whether to remain neutral or favor one side. After deciding, speak with Baliff Thrush again, who will agree to end the feud. Then, bring Prochek or Olbram to the pasture to finalize the peace. Speak with Baliff Thrush once more to receive the Master Studies I book.
By following these steps, you'll successfully stop the feud during the Battle of the Frogs and Mice in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and insights into the game, be sure to visit The Escapist.
