The footage highlights diverse game world locations, the combat system, various enemy types, and a brief cutscene. The beloved chicken kick also returns.

Previously, the head of Xbox Game Studios announced a delay for Fable, shifting its release from 2025 to 2026 to allow for further polish and refinement.

The series reboot was first revealed on July 23, 2020, with minimal details shared since. Three years later, it was evident that Fable remained in early development stages.

With Playground Games enlisting support from Eidos Montreal and the prolonged absence of refined gameplay footage, the project appears to face notable challenges.
